Howard Spindler Concert

[photo]Linkages Friend and former board member Howard Spindler will give a concert on Sunday, March 6, at 7:00, Kilbourne Hall.  That is tomorrow as I write.  Sorry for the short notice.  Mr. Spindler reports:

Guess who's Mu Phi Epsilon "Musician of the Year?!" So I'm playing chamber music with colleagues: Cecile Saine is singing Beethoven Irish and Scottish Songs, with violin and cello parts played by Rebeca Boyd and Kathy Kemp; then I play Schubert Impromptus, solo, and then Wes Nance, Andy Brown and Ruth Cahn (trumpet, clarinet, percussion) join me for Paul Bowles' Music for a Farce! Also: Mu Phi friends are playing some pieces by Hovhaness. Punch and cookies afterwards! Should be fun, and not too long.
