suggestions for improvement
- Assume the user is a first-time user.
When
the site opens, it should go to the "Mission or Home" page.
When I first
hit the site, I got a page that had info on the Basket Exhibit and a photo of
someone visiting Brockport. - Early on in the side menu, have an easy way for folks to Join
Linkages - Does Linkages want money? Nothing says how to send
contributions! - Couldn't find info of past "Friendship"
tours
I think it is a big deal that Linkages sponsors tours that provide
home hospitality. - Links page needs to be broken into separate pages or chunks.

I would color the actual links so that it
is clearer where to click. - I would rename discussion to Forums, the typical web term.
- I would have a calendar link instead of events - As I am a "planning
type" I like to look at calendars. - Consider maintenance!
The members&history pages are contain too
much text.
The history pages could be broken into years (1985-1990,
1991-95, etc)
Current history could be added as pages, no need to update
the whole history page. - Break Members page into subpages labeled by role, so that when Mary
Smith becomes president, you only update the president page.
Photos of
board members would be a nice touch - I would divide the photos into albums with better titles.
- And get the submitter to write decent captions.
